HELLO
I’m Alia, a qualified Nutritional Therapist, registered member of BANT (British Association for Nutrition and Lifestyle Medicine), The Complementary and Natural Healthcare Council (CNHC), and the ANP (Association of Naturopathic Practitioners). I’m a keen cook, gardener, photographer, runner and mother living in my favourite city of Bristol. I am at my happiest cooking up nutritious hearty food for my most loved or out stomping in nature, exploring the nearby coastline and countryside with my husband and little one.

MY STORY
Food has always been centre stage in my life; my passion for cooking and hearty home cooked meals stemmed from an early age, and I was always aware that food and health were interlinked. Throughout my twenties and thirties, a career in Film and Television involved a lifestyle marked by irregular eating, late nights, and insufficient rest. During this time, my health took a backseat, which ultimately led to burnout and a range of health issues such as hormonal imbalances, digestive problems, skin infections, and chronic fatigue.

I reached the point where something had to change. I became focused on improving my own health naturally and decided to follow my passion to retrain in Naturopathic Nutritional Therapy. Becoming a mother and caring for my family, who were dealing with chronic autoimmune and atopic conditions, further reinforced my belief in the fundamental role of nutrition as the cornerstone of our health.

I absolutely love what I do; I can’t think of anything more rewarding than to support a client on their health journey and see the transformation that can happen once the body is given the nutrients it needs. The body will always try to heal itself, it just needs the right conditions to do so.
